That’s almost adorable.

I think it looks a bit ridiculous. I’m sure it’s practical and works... but... Why not just a regular truck?

I’ve seen these on craigslist before, usually they keep more of the van and they’re use as haulers.

this is moderately pointless and insane.
needless to say, I approve.

It's the Shetland Pony of trucks!

Why does it have a Ram bed?

Because maybe you have a broken F-150 in one hand, and a perfectly functional E-Series cutaway in the other, and you need a usable vehicle today goddammit.

I like it! It reminds me of the Ford Econoline Van trucks in the 1960’s.

Owner/Creator had one handy? It does irk me that those sill lines don’t match up.

I would definitely DD that!

The interesting part about this is that it’s not 2 Ford pieces, it’s actually part Ford E-Series and part Dodge dualy pickup. Very strange, I’m surprised that they were able to get the Ford cab onto what I assume is the Dodge platform.

I would get it if there was more of the cab part but being so short, it kinda looks pathetic.

It’s a Fam E-3500!
![]() 06/20/2015 at 19:49 |

It’s a Dodge bed. And instead of borrowing a truck, you just decided to take 2 different brands and try to line them up?
![]() 06/20/2015 at 19:52 |

Yes.

Weight balance: 95% Front, 5% Rear..

Not after you fill the bed with stuff.

I think it’s the Dodge bed on the E-Series platform.

I want it.

Yeah I bet he had a rear end damaged van and a bed laying around, boredom....

Did they make E-series dualys? I honestly can’t remember
![]() 06/20/2015 at 21:33 |

E-350 were Duallies I do believe.

As a van, it looks like they didn’t have a dually version , but in other trims (like the bus) it was an option. I guess the owner took off the bus compartment and dropped the Dodge truck bed on there.

Possibly.

Yes. I have seen box truck E-series with duallies.

Box truck too.

The only reason I don’t like it is because they put a Dodge bed on a Ford van. But to be 100% honest with you I’ve thought of doing this very same thing before just with a Ford bed on it.
I give it a 6.5/10 Good concept but not so great execution.
The body lines would of matched up so much better with a Ford bed.

They did on the Cab and chassis which this is what this is.

My dad had that body style Econline (van, not truck) when I was a kid, so I get excited whenever I see one of these because I think they’re the bomb.
P.S. This is what my uncle did with the Econoline after my dad gave up on it:

E350s were available as duallie chassis cabs, while the E450 was exclusively a dual rear wheel striped chassis. Here’s how they arrive at the dealer, ready for upfitting.
I’m more curious where this person found a short wheelbase version.

I undrstand the why? Everything was handy and cheap, i can relate, but the want, no! Those van bodies with access engine issues, no thanks.
